Southeastern Massachusetts Community Wind Symphony, Inc. is one of the only true community instrumental music organizations in the Boston Metro-West region. We do not exclude individual participation in our band based on full sections, band size, or audition skills. Therefore this opportunity to play is provided to anyone who can read music (high school to professional level proficiency recommended) and play an instrument.

Instrumental music is arguably an ultimate team sport. Everyone is on "the playing field" together and each team player's contribution critical to presenting a high-quality program of live music in our communities.
